What We Believe

JAM is founded upon the belief that the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.

If you have any specific questions about what we believe, contact us directly.

We believe in one God, made known to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the absolute inspiration of the Bible.

We believe that sin has separated man from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe in Jesus, who is truly God and truly man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for the sins of the world, was resurrected bodily, and now reigns forever in glory.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We believe that those who have faith in Christ should turn from sin. The grace of God brings salvation; the Holy Spirit regenerates the heart, enabling faith that brings justification from sin. The Holy Spirit leads us in sanctification, the ongoing spiritual growth that identifies us as genuine believers and is completed only at glorification.

We believe that all those who place their faith in Christ are to be baptized into Christ. We live this with water baptism by immersion in the Name of Jesus Christ.

We believe the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a promise to all believers.

Holiness begins with “imputed holiness” that can only come His blood and righteousness. True holiness begins and continues in the heart of man. Ephesians 4:24 “And put on the new nature (the regenerate self) created in Gods image, [Godlike] in true righteousness and holiness.” We seek to lead people to take the “NextSteps” to growing in the process of maturity thru and sanctity separation. Hebrews 12:13 “Strive to live in peace with everybody and pursue that consecration and holiness without which no one will [ever] see the Lord.” Our ultimate goal is simply to be like Him!

Spiritual Gifts

We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit. He ministers to His people through tongues, interpretation of tongues, prophecy; words of knowledge and wisdom, discerning of spirits, faith, working of miracles, healing, helps and government.

Spiritual gifts were lost to the Church after 200 AD. Revelation of the written Word has established these gifts once again. We teach a strong emphasis on training leaders to activate the saints in the gifts of the Holy Spirit with which they have been endowed (I Corinthians chapters 12 & 14).

Every believer should operate in the gifts of the Spirit and know the voice of God for themselves. Mark 16:15-18; Acts 5:16; 2 Corinthians 12:1-11

Five Fold Ministry – The Apostolic Government

We believe the chief expression of the body of Christ on earth is found in an Discovery Center, which is connected to other centers through mutual faith and doctrine, yet governed by the five-fold ministry in its pursuit of the mission of Christ. These Discovery Centers are built on foundational Apostolic Government, led by Apostles and inspired by Prophets and the work of ministry by Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. The Five-Fold Leaders purpose is to serve in a “Roundtable” fashion and not “Top-Down Hierarchal” fashion.

The role of the apostolic leader is one of facilitation and alignment rather than domination; our job is to make room, serve, and support the leadership and train, equip, release believers into significant ministry to influence the spheres of society.

2nd Coming of Jesus Christ & Eternal Judgement

We believe in heaven and hell, the literal second coming of Jesus, His rule upon the earth, the resurrection of believers to eternal life and sinners to eternal punishment, and the ultimate victory of the Kingdom of God.

Foundational Scriptures

Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day; and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high (Luke 24:46-49).

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38).

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12)

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed (Galatians 1:9).

And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone (Ephesians 2:20).

As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine (I Timothy 1:3).

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (II Timothy 3:16).
